Due to the growing fiber optic infrastructure that is being deployed in Spain through the UNICO-Banda Ancha programs of the Ministry of Economy and Business, the rise of local operators is unstoppable, having the opportunity to position their offer alongside the main players in the national market. This is why digitization is the main line of action to increase sales opportunities in an impersonal and saturated supply sector. More than 30% of telecommunications service contracts are made online, a rate that is growing year by year. We proposed to Wiber the renewal of its web channel incorporating an online registration management platform and CRM. We developed the platform by integrating the company’s existing footprint management technology. In this way, the fiber optic coverage map was incorporated into the registration process, which in turn acts as a coverage tester. Through this development, the online sales channel has been incorporated, the number of visits to the website has tripled and the number of calls to the callcenter for coverage verification has been reduced.
